Privacy notice: usage statistics

Port Vision Direct counts how its parts are used, so that Awake.AI can see which ones people rely on and where to improve. This notice says what is collected, why, and for how long.

What is collected

  • Which area of the app you open, such as Port calls or Tasks, once each time you move to another area, with the time and your organization. Not the record you open, the rest of the address, or anything you type.
  • Some actions, such as a port call created, a task created or a document uploaded, with the kind of thing and simple counts: a status, a file type and size, how many links. Never names, descriptions or other text you enter.
  • A key for the day, so that the people active on a day can be counted. It is made from your user id and a random value that exists for that day only (UTC) and is deleted when the day is over. After that, nobody, Awake.AI included, can tell whose key it was. Your user id is not stored with any of this.

Why

To understand how the platform is used: which areas are used most, how many people are active a day, and which organizations are active. Only the platform’s administrators see these figures, and only as totals per day, per area and per organization.

They are not used to follow or assess anyone, and nothing is sent to an advertising or outside analytics service.

How long

Each event is deleted after 180 days. The random value behind a day’s keys is deleted as soon as the day is over.
